Welcome Back Lowell Brune Families! We are excited to start the 2022-2023 school year! We are currently in the process of putting the final touches on information for families, but are some key pieces to know:

  • Registration for New and returning families opens on Monday, July 25th. This can be done online. If you need support and/or have questions, please contact us.

  • Classroom teachers will be reaching out to families August 10-12th. This will be a wonderful opportunity to speak with your child’s teacher about the upcoming school year, and how as a team, the teacher and family can best support each other, plus finalizing how students are to go home, and other odds and ends.

  • The first day of school for all students is Monday, August 15th, and it will be a full day of school.

  • School supplies will be provided by the school! We do encourage each student to come to school with a book bag, and tennis shoes.

  • Be on the lookout for the 2022-2023 Free and Reduced Lunch Application Form both via mail and online. Only one form (either paper OR online) needs to be submitted. The district is no longer able to offer free lunch for all students, and it is critical to fill out the application. More communication will come regarding the online application.

  • If you have any questions, and/or need support, please do not hesitate to contact us at 913-627-5700.

Additional information about the upcoming school year and events will be rolling out through school newsletters, phone calls, and the Lowell Brune Facebook page. We can’t wait to see all of our Brune Bears!!
